Loose Change Announces Highly Anticipated Debut Album Release

Loose Change, a rock band known for their strong songwriting and unwavering commitment to philanthropy, is thrilled to announce the release of their first full-length album in 2024. With a rich history spanning over three decades, Loose Change is set to captivate audiences once again with their catchy melodies, dynamic sound, and poignant lyrics.

Formed in 1988, Loose Change is comprised of: John Cusimano (guitar and vocals), John Fracchia (guitar and vocals), Michael Paes (Bass), and Ross Herman (Drums). Despite the geographical distance between them, with members located in Lansdale, PA, Ithaca, NY, Sandy Hook, CT, and Westchester, NY, the band has utilized advances in technology to collaborate and record their music seamlessly.

The band's roots run deep, with Cusimano and Fracchia having started their songwriting journey during their high school years in Elmira, NY, while Fracchia, Paes and Herman honed their craft together at Binghamton University.

Though they raised families and pursued diverse professional careers, including law, education, and cybersecurity, the band members never lost sight of their shared passion for music. Over the years, Loose Change has sporadically reunited to record and perform, leaning into their unique blend of rock and philanthropy.

True to their altruistic spirit, Loose Change has actively supported various charitable causes throughout their career. In 1990, they contributed two songs to the Tunes For The Dunes project, which aimed to uplift the spirits of troops serving during the Gulf War. Additionally, in 2011, on the tenth anniversary of 9/11, Loose Change released "Carry On" to raise funds for the Fealgood Foundation, providing financial support to 9/11 first responders battling health issues.

The excitement surrounding Loose Change's debut album is palpable, with fans eagerly anticipating digital access to newly mastered recordings of their favorite songs along with new material featuring their trademark sound and style.

Commencing May 1, 2024, the band will unveil a series of new songs every 2 to 3 weeks, kicking off with the track "Mayday," a beautiful song foreshadowing the wreck of a strained relationship through haunting melodies and goose-bump raising lyrics using the metaphor of a ship captain frantically issuing a mayday call.
